Trustee

Commonly referred to as an estate trustee.

The person you name in your Will to manage and take care of the assets in a trust. This person is not involved in any other aspect of settling your estate. This person’s responsibilities end once the trust is dissolved. In most cases, the testator appoints in their Will the same person as executor and trustee, so that the same person can manage both the assets in a trust (trustee) and the assets in the estate (executor).
