Affidavit of execution

A written statement completed by one of the witnesses to a Will. The witness confirms that the person who made the Will signed it in front of both witnesses, and the witnesses also signed it. The witness must also sign this affidavit before a commissioner of oaths or a notary public who completes the section beside the witness signature showing the location and the date the affidavit was signed.
