Means “by head”: a method of dividing your estate so that all the living members of the class of beneficiary named in your Will will receive a share in your estate. When a member of the class of beneficiaries has predeceased you, their share does not go to their living children (issue). Rather, their share will be distributed amongst your remaining living beneficiaries named in your Will.
